Adding a 12-month extended warranty is an inexpensive way to double the coverage
time of your Starmark Limited Warranty. Available on vehicles with up to 90,000
miles, eight model years or newer.
An extra 24 months of coverage means that your Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz is under
the Starmark warranty umbrella for a full three years. Available on vehicles with
up to 75,000 miles, eight model years or newer.
The 36-month Extended Limited Warranty offers a total of 48 months -four years- of
Starmark warranty protection. Available on vehicles with up to 50,000 miles that are
still under new-car warranty.
Engine and Powertrain: Covers the engine, transmission and rear axle. If your
Pre-Owned Mercedes is equipped with 4MATIC all-wheel drive or any other Mercedes-Benz
traction and stability enhancements (ASD, ASR, ETS, ESP), those systems are covered
as well.
Steering: Covers the complete power steering system.
Suspension: Comprehensive coverage of all the vehicle's suspension pieces and the
Adaptive Damping System (if so equipped).
Brakes: Covers all elements (excluding normal wear of discs and pads), including the
standard Antilock Braking System.
Electrical Systems: Covers various electrical systems. Includes all motors, gauges,
connectors, switches, sensors, regulators and relays.
Climate Control System: Coverage applies to certain items of the vehicle's Tempmatic
or Automatic Climate Control System, including the system's air conditioning and
heating assemblies.
Central Locking System: Covers all actuators, switches and linkages, plus remote
transmitters (excluding batteries) and receivers for the remote locking system.
Convertible Top Systems: The convertibles' top-actuation systems and roll bar
mechanisms are fully covered.
Other Components: Additional covered components include front and rear windshield
wiper linkages, power-seat drive cables, seat belt assemblies, sunroof cables,
window regulators and, if applicable, the pneumatic door and trunk closing assist

Towing and Trip Interruption reimbursement: As with the standard Starmark Limited
Warranty, the Extended Limited Warranty provides free towing to the nearest
Mercedes-Benz dealer in the event of a covered breakdown, as well as MBNA's Trip
Interruption reimbursement program
With any vehicle, it's the engine and drive train that get the hardest day-to-day
workout of all. If you want to protect the heart of your Starmark investment but
don't feel the need for the complete Starmark coverage, the Starmark Powertrain
Component Extended Limited Warranty might be the ideal plan for you. The Powertrain
Extended Limited Warranty covers the engine, transmission, and rear axle and also
includes "Towing and Trip Interruption reimbursement" benefits (see above). Ask
your Starmark Certified Dealer for further details about the extra peace of mind
and protection found under the Starmark Extended Limited.
This brochure sets forth a summary of coverage. For full details, including all
limitations, ask your dealer for a copy of the Starmark Pre-Owned Limited Warranty
and optional warranty extensions. Coverage does not duplicate the Mercedes-Benz New
